The Point Master is extremely effective for the re-pointing of old brickwork, where the mortar has crumbled away. Because the Point Master is designed to fill from the back, the mortar joint is always completely filled. this ensures the best repair possible.

When repairing or repointing, always remember to remove all the loose and powdery mortar back to a depth of 15 - 20mm, then dampen the brick cavity and existing mortar to ensure the best adhesion.

When repointing brickwork where the joints have already been cleared, 10 square metres per hour is achievable when using the Point Master.
